If you lose something on the train or at the station, you can report the loss to the Lost Property Hotline and request a search. If this search is not successful, call again a few days later.
The Lost Property Office or our Service staff at the railway stations will also be glad to help you further. Simply request a search using the form available free of charge at the ServicePoint, at DB Travel Centres and at ticket offices, or download the form here.

Found items that cannot be assigned owners within one weeks are forwarded to the central Lost Property Office in Wuppertal. If the owner can also not be determined within four weeks, the item will be auctioned.
